Our highly credentialed team of clinicians provide state of the art, trauma informed, evidence based treatment services for youth and families along a continuum of care. The purpose of the Juvenile Reporting and Family (JRFC) is to introduce at-risk adolescents to skills, activities, and opportunities; tap into their strengths and foster appropriate peer and adult relationships; and help them become successful members of their community. The LaSalle site serves males ages 13-16. This Alternative to Detention and Prevention program provides for Albany County youth known to probation, who live at home and attend local schools, a supervised, structured array of enrichment recreational activities during high-risk evening hours. The program is built upon the strategies of Positive Youth Development.
Responsibilities include providing individual, family and group counseling services for residential students and their families; experience working with at-risk JD/PINS adolescents and their families, providing family counseling, support and linkages to natural and community based supports; experience working with a treatment and team based service system; knowledge of NYS OCFS Connections electronic record system.
