Alliance announces 15 ‘Change in Mind’ cohort sites, details

LaSalle selected for two-country brain science cohort initiative

LaSalle School is one of 15 human service organizations to participate in a three-year Brain Science Cohort Initiative designed to integrate neurosciences into transformative policy and practice. Partnering on the project are The Alliance for Strong Families and Communities, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and The Norlien Foundation. The announcement came late last week. ACEs symposium engages frontline staff at UAlbany

Staff continue to engage, spread expertise

ACE Presentations at the NYSATSA Conference

Eight LaSalle clinicians presented on ACEs (short for adverse childhood experiences), neuroscience, and sexual violence prevention at the 19th Annual conference of the NYS Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (NYSATSA / NYSASOSP) held in Albany, NY. At the same time, staff were in San Francisco, CA presenting at the 58th annual conference of American Association of Children’s Residential Centers (AACRC) on data driven program and strategies.
